GPO is a Non-governmental organization that promotes social and economic development within communities living in Eastern and North Eastern parts of Kenya. We focus on support for women in northern Kenya, education for girls in north eastern Kenya, and promoting peace and stability in northern Kenya and parts of Somalia.

Founded in 2010, Global Pastoralist Organization began as a small community initiative addressing the immediate needs of pastoralist families affected by drought. Over the years, we've grown into a comprehensive development organization implementing programs across multiple sectors.
